In this playthrough, we’ll take a human hunter from level 1 to level 60 in Retail World of Warcraft. We’ll be starting with Exile’s Reach for levels 1-10, and doing levels 10 – 50 in Battle for Azeroth content, as a player who is new to the game would do. As always, we’ll be reading all the quests, and watching any cutscenes, etc.

The goal of this guide is to provide a much more compact and detailed explanation of my route. I’ve done my best to explain why I do each zone, along with any tips I have on how to optimize your leveling process. Towards the end of the video, I quickly recapped a lot of zones that I’ve tested and found to be inefficient; that said, the run is not perfect. As with any leveling route, there will always be more minor time shaves that get discovered in the future. To account for this, I’ve created a google doc with a shorter written version of this guide. I’ll do my best to keep this document up to date with any new strategies that I discover in the coming weeks, and you can view it here:

Chromie Time is coming. Shadowlands is bringing a level squish to WoW, and leveling new characters is going to be a bit different! I leveled a Troll Druid from 1-120 in just 23 hours and 56 minutes! This was the fastest I’ve done so far and I want to continue to try and push this as much as I can.
